Tinkyada Pasta

I have tried the Tinkyada pasta in the form of spaghetti noodles and decided to give it a try in the form of Lasagna. The pasta has to be cooked, there is not a "no boil" option on the box, but since I was already cooking other things anyway it didn't seem like a big deal to me. The pasta is good, but I can tell its gluten free, there is just something lacking in the flavor.

I will continue to buy the product because texturally it is good and taste is okay. The lasagna was fantastic. Did you know that Classico sauces are gluten free? They are wonderfully labeled as gluten free right on the back. I love it when companies make life easier by putting those two little words with huge meaning right on the label!

  1. I make lasagna with these noodles and skip the boiling step. Layer the dry noodles with the sauce and cheeses and other ingredients you want included. Add extra water for the noodles to absorb as the lasagna bakes. Cover the baking dish as the steam helps cook the noodles as it bakes.
Make enough so there are leftovers.
